Shade Inspiration
The phenomena of the Midnight Sun is the result of the Sun’s orbit coinciding with the Earth’s orbit, leaving the Sun visible 24 hours a day at the North Pole and other points within the Arctic Circle.
While located just south of the Arctic Circle, Iceland experiences the Midnight Sun from March to September, with the longest duration in late June, usually around June 21 through June 24.
